The African Coordination of Human Rights for the Armed Forces (CADHA), in collaboration with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Côte d'Ivoire (FACI) and in partnership with the World Federalist Movement-Institute for Global Policy ( WFM-IGP), organized on 29 and 30 August 2017, at its headquarters at the General Staff of the Armed Forces, a seminar on the theme "Dissemination and Appropriation of the Code of Ethics and Military Ethics". Bringing together officers, non-commissioned officers, non-commissioned members and human rights experts, the seminar's main objective was to strengthen the capacity of armed men in Human Rights and major articulations of the Code of Ethics and Human Rights. Military Ethics to Confirm the Results of "Zero Cases of Human Rights Violations by the Armed and Security Forces". :

Opening remarks were made by the Acting General Coordinator of the CADHA, Mr. Massoma DOSSO, the WFM-IGP Francophone Africa Focal Point, Mr. Ali OUATTARA, and the representative of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the Colonel-Major FLAN Yibagbeu, Commander of the First Military Region.

In his address, the interim coordinator of the CADHA has indicated that it is necessary and appropriate to provide armed men with instruments relating to their profession and also to human rights in order to avoid human rights violations.

For its part, the Francophone Focal Point of the WFM-IGP, focused on the integration of the modules on International Criminal Justice in the training curricula of the Armed Forces and the Security Forces of Ivory Coast.

As for the representative of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, he urged the participants to be attentive and take advantage of this seminar to gather the maximum of knowledge, insofar as they are privileged of the Head of State -major who attaches importance to the training of his troops. The opening ceremony ended with a family photo.

After that, the different presentations of the modules on Human Rights, the Code of Ethics and Military Ethics, Sexual Violence in Conflict, the Convention against Torture and Criminal Justice took place over two days. International, International Humanitarian Law and Gender Based Violence.
